Business card: Kiril Beleliev is the Director of Supplies and Sales and a member of the Board of Directors of AmonRa Energy. He has been with the company since its founding in 2020 and is responsible for commercial relations with the leading international manufacturers in solar energy, which the company represents in Bulgaria. Part of his tasks is to plan deliveries from over 30 leading manufacturers of solar panels, inverters and systems, ensuring their availability in the warehouse and in the service center. He is also responsible for sales to b2b clients, including over 500 installers in Bulgaria and abroad.
“AmonRa Energy” is a well-known name in the field of photovoltaic technologies. What distinguishes your company in this increasingly competitive market?
Our main strength is that we provide complete solutions. “AmonRa Energy” is a logistics company specializing in the delivery of all components necessary for the construction of photovoltaic systems – from solar panels and inverters to structures, batteries, charging stations for electric vehicles and cables. This allows our customers – be they households, companies or installation partners – to find everything in one place. This way we facilitate the process and shorten the time for project implementation.
How do you ensure fast deliveries, which are often key when building solar systems?
We maintain constant stock availability, which is one of our main competitive advantages. This allows us to react quickly both in Bulgaria and abroad. We work with established manufacturers such as JA Solar, Canadian Solar, Sungrow, Huawei, Deye, SUNWODA and Dyness and others. Our partnership with them not only provides access to products of proven quality, but also ensures that we deliver the best from the global market.
You also have your own product development. Can you tell us more about the AR2 design?
Yes, we can proudly say that “AmonRa” is the only company in Bulgaria that produces roof structures for the installation of photovoltaic panels. The AR2 structure is entirely according to our project and design, and its production is carried out jointly with “Kontaktni elementi” in the town of Dragoman – a company with over 40 years of history. The product is distinguished by high quality, competitive price and full compliance with industry standards, including ISO certification, and resistance to various climatic conditions.
In addition, we have created the subsidiary “CERB Solar”, which expands our portfolio with design, installation, legalization, maintenance and service services. This allows us to offer not only equipment, but also turnkey implementation, which is of great importance for clients looking for full service from a trusted partner.
You also offer energy storage solutions. What is CERB BESS?
CERB BESS is our own energy storage solution designed for residential and industrial customers, solar parks and energy providers. It allows the accumulation of energy from renewable sources and its use when needed – be it for uninterrupted power supply, frequency regulation or consumption optimization. It is also suitable as an environmentally friendly alternative to diesel generators.
How do you maintain high quality in the implementation of solar projects and what is the role of your partner network in this process?
In addition to the logistics solutions we offer, we are also building a stable, growing network of certified partners and subcontractors throughout the country. They participate in the implementation of projects at the local level and are a key factor in the quality of our installations. To become an official installation partner of the company, candidates go through a strict approval process, including inspections, assessment of their technical capabilities and compliance with our standards.
After joining the network, all partners participate in regular free training – technical courses organized in the form of practical events. They are led by experts from leading manufacturers in the sector and combine theory and demonstrations. Our goal is to increase the technical competence of installers, to familiarize them with the latest technologies and proven practices in the design, installation and maintenance of solar systems. This is extremely important, because the right choice and quality installation of equipment guarantee full compatibility of components, high efficiency and long-term reliability of the systems.
What distinguishes “AmonRa Energy” as a business structure and how do you position yourself on the international market?
“AmonRa Energy” is the only logistics company in the photovoltaic sector in Bulgaria, which is listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange in the BEAM segment. This is a clear sign of the transparency, stability and long-term vision with which we manage the business. This year we will distribute a dividend of over 1 million leva, which is an expression of the trust of our shareholders and confirmation of our sustainable financial model.
At the same time, we are strongly oriented towards international markets. We are actively present in almost all of Europe, and are particularly well positioned in Southeastern Europe and the Balkans. In some of the countries we already have local representatives. Every year we participate in leading exhibitions in Germany, Romania, Serbia, Greece, North Macedonia and Ukraine. These forums are an important platform for us – not only for presenting new products and solutions, but also for exchanging experience, monitoring market trends and strengthening our partnerships.
We also have a strong presence in Bulgaria and serve both end customers and corporate and industrial partners. We offer equipment for small and medium-sized solar installations – suitable for households, business buildings and commercial sites, as well as solutions for large-scale projects with industrial applications. We also supply pump inverters that are used in the agricultural industry. Our philosophy is based on the understanding that solar energy should be produced where it is consumed – an approach that guarantees higher efficiency, energy independence and sustainability.
What are AmonRa Energy’s results so far in 2025 and what investments are you planning?
In the first five months of 2025, we generated revenues of over BGN 26 million excluding VAT. This result is a direct reflection of the increased demand for solar solutions both in Bulgaria and in international markets, as well as the expansion of our partner network. We expect sustainable growth until the end of the year, supported by our ability to respond quickly and qualitatively to customer needs.
In line with this development, we are also planning significant investments in infrastructure. By the end of 2025, we will begin construction of a new logistics center in the industrial park of Shumen. The facility will be located on an area of 11 thousand sq. m and will serve clients from Northeastern and Central Bulgaria. In addition to a modern warehouse, it will also offer commercial space for rent. This investment is part of our long-term strategy for sustainable growth and closer ties with regional markets.
