Dr. Eng. Dimitar Beleliev has been the founder and head of AmonRa Energy AD since 2020. Under his management, the company has established itself as a market leader in Bulgaria and Eastern Europe, offering comprehensive solutions for renewable energy.

Dimitar Beleliev has over 30 years of professional experience as a manager, engineer and investor in the energy sector. From 2002 to the present, he has held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors and Procurator of Central Energy Repair Base EAD – a key company in the repair and servicing of energy equipment in Bulgaria. Until 2010, he was the Executive Director of Techenergo AD – a company specializing in the design of energy facilities and equipment. In the period 2003 – 2010, he was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Energoremont Varna AD and Energoremont Ruse AD, and between 2007 and 2010. is a member of the Supervisory Board of Energoremont Holding AD.

His professional activity also includes a wide public commitment with numerous leadership positions. Since 2005, he has been the Chairman of the Management Board of the Association for Bulgarian-Ukrainian Friendship and Cooperation. Since 2014, he has been the Chairman of the Control Board of the Confederation of Industrialists and Employers in Bulgaria – KRIB. Since 2022, he has been the Chairman of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Association of Electrical Engineering and Electronics (BASEL).

He defended his doctoral degree at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) with a dissertation on the topic “Assessment of Bulgaria’s Energy Security”. He has two master’s degrees – “Energy Business” from the UNWE and “Transport Equipment and Technologies” from the Technical University – Sofia.

He is the author of a number of publications on issues related to energy security, sustainable development and investment challenges in the sector.

He speaks English and Russian.
