Companies’ interest in renewable energy for their own needs began to become widespread after July 1, 2019. At that time, texts were adopted in the Energy Act, which eliminated the payment of all network fees and surcharges for electricity from new wind and solar power plants, which is delivered via direct cable to the consumer. That is precisely why panels are widely installed on the roofs of halls, workshops, offices and shops.
Meanwhile, the prices of the panels and inverters themselves have also decreased significantly – the funds needed to build such capacities were now over 10 times less than in 2010. In practice, this opened a corridor for new investments, which were almost completely absent in previous years.
The energy transformation has started to happen quite noticeably at the corporate level. Many enterprises in the country have turned to building solar installations for their own needs, which are relatively small, are implemented quickly and do not meet the return on assets value, but do provide real savings on energy costs.
